Drug traffickers await sentencing

Two people charged in connection to a drug bust in Prince Albert last summer, have entered guilty pleas.

Steven Geisler, 28, and Larry Dominique, 29, who both appeared in person at Prince Albert Provincial Court Wednesday, will be sentenced May 13.

On July 17, 2019, police executed search warrants at several addresses in the city. Police recovered cellphones, a loaded handgun, and more than $44,000 in cash. Various quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana and cocaine were also seized.

Geisler and Dominique faced over 20 combined charges following the investigation by the Integrated Street Enforcement Team. Those charges include possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence.
