Police identify man found unresponsive in jail cell
The man found unresponsive in his cell at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre last Friday, has now been identified as 31-year-old Robert McAdam.
The newest information from the Prince Albert Police Service Thursday afternoon did not include the cause of death, but did mention the police investigation was not finished.
According to a paNOW Obituary, McAdam was from Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation and the funeral was held on Jan. 1.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Corrections and Policing has confirmed there was a space of one hour from the time McAdam was found unresponsive in his cell at the Prince Albert Correctional Centre, to the time he was pronounced deceased in hospital.
