It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother Alphild Andrea Bergermann (nee Buschmann) born October 18, 1926 Muenster, SK. Mom passed at 83, following complications with cancer. In her passing mom is reunited with her beloved late husband Benno William Bergermann (1986). Mom passed during the early morning on Sunday, September 5th, 2010 with family by her side.Mom will be greatly missed. Her gifts were abundant with the love and care she gave as a devoted daughter, wife and mother of six children. Throughout the years, mom optimized numerous opportunities to work side by side with her sons & daughters within family businesses. For five years during her early senior years mom enjoyed being a “greeter” at the Prince Albert Wal-Mart and loved every minute while making many new friends. As a devout believer of our Lord Jesus Christ, mom inspired and instilled a spiritual strength within her loved ones through her teaching and guidance on the importance of kindness and love for all that today carry us through our many challenges. Mom IS an inspiration to many with her strong and loving faith. Andrea was pre-deceased by her dear parents Axel & Ellerine Buschmann, sister Lillian (Frank) Walls, sister-in-law Gertrude Buschmann, brother-in-law Ervin Steffen, and brothers Hakon, Arthur & Oscar Buschmann. Survived by her loving brothers Egill & Wilfred (Marina) Buschmann, sister Agnes Steffen, sister-in-law Hedy (Arthur) Buschmann; and her beloved children Valerie (Chuck) Klein of Wakaw, SK., Murray Bergermann of Edmonton, AB., Mary (Brad) Harte of Saskatoon, SK., Peggy Chamberlain of Saskatoon, SK., Carol (Clayton) Sundberg of Cochrane, AB., and Jeffrey (Michele) Bergermann of Garden City, MI.; her grandchildren Patti (Ron) Keays, Terri (Marc) Haugen, Raylene, Benjamin, Bethany, Michael, Emily & Tomias Bergermann, Shelly (Jake) Pruden, Glenn (Kristina) Glass, Amanda Harte, Laura, Barbara & David (Leah) Chamberlain, Christian & Kyle Sundberg, Alyssa & Aric Bergermann; and twelve great grandchildren; Jordan & Mikaela Gyoerick, Kennedy & Katie Haugen, Makena & Ella Pruden, Brennan & Marissa Chamberlain, Julie, Janelle, Jocelyn & Jillian Chamberlain. The family extends sincere appreciation to the wonderful staff of St. Paul's Hospital (Saskatoon, SK) with Special Thanks to the nurses of the palliative care unit for their kindness and loving care of Mom. The funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 13, 2010 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25thStreet East, Prince Albert, SK by Father Mathew Nguyen. Interment will follow in the Garden of Gethsemane at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in mom’s memory may be made to the St. Paul's palliative care unit at St. Paul's Hospital.
