PICTURE OVER THE OBITUARY
MARY JASPAR (nee Feschuk) April 4, 1930 – November 3, 2010. Mary passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Mont St Joseph Care Home. Mary was born in Meath Park on April 4, 1930. After attending the School for the Deaf in Saskatoon, Mary moved to Prince Albert to start her career, pursue her passions, and raise her family. Mary’s creative abilities shone through in her career from first working at Voldeng’s Studios coloring photos, becoming a photographer, to owning/operating her custom picture-framing business. Mary was passionate about teaching sign language, volunteering on numerous local and provincial organizations for the Deaf, bowling, puzzles, reading, gardening and above all spending time with family and friends. Mary’s determination, acceptance, patience, positive attitude, faith, and calm gentle smile remained strong to the end. Mary will forever be in the hearts of her family: her son Don; her daughter Annette (Graham Toporowski) and her treasured grandchildren Connor and Kate; her brother and sister-in-law Bill and Mary Feschuk; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends. Mary was predeceased by her husband Peter; her parents Joe and Anne (nee Tycholiz) Feschuk; Peter’s parents Stephane and Alice Jaspar; and many extended family members. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 8 from Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401- 4th Avenue West by Father Maurice Fiolleau. In lieu of flowers or other tributes, donations can be made in Mary’s memory to the Mont St Joseph Foundation or the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic.
