Dennis Lyle Lucier “The Captain”
Dennis Lucier passed away suddenly on Friday, January 7, 2011. Dennis was born on January 30, 1961. He will be deeply missed and loved forever by his soul mate Charlene Pearson. Dennis is survived by his children Brad (Danielle), Trevor, Ricky (Nikki), Candace (Randy) Werchuk; his step children Linsey, Steven, Jordon and Ashley (Jesse) Pearson; his grandchildren Kylee, Savanna and Jeremy; his brothers George, Vince and Owen; his sisters Gail and Liz and their spouses; his stepfather Albert Demerais; his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many numerous friends. He was predeceased by his mother Doris Demerais, his father Gordon Lucier; his brother Donald Lucier; his mother and father-in-law Freda Pearson and Walter Umpherville; his grandparents Stella and Harry Mathers and Alexena and Victor Lucier and his nephew Andre Lucier. Dennis was born and raised in Prince Albert, he had numerous jobs throughout his life, painter, carpenter, janitor, he was a jack of all trades. Presently, he was employed at Partner’s and a much loved employee. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved sports, bingo, riding his bike, but mostly enjoyed drives in the country with Charlene. No words can explain how you left us so suddenly. Dennis will be loved and forever missed by all who knew him. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2011 at South Hill Cemetery, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Rick Martin officiating. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the Graveside Service at the Nordale Community Club. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to a family trust in care of Gray’s Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
