JOAN CAROL FRITH (nee Busch)
Joan passed away in Prince Albert, SK on Monday, January 24, 2011. She was born in Wetaskiwin, AB on October 1, 1941 and grew up in Kavanaugh, AB. She graduated from high school in Leduc, AB and secretary school in Edmonton. Joan is survived by her loving family: her husband of 41 years Edwin; her son Steven (Charlene); her grandchildren Steven, Jr., Micheal and Jorja. Left to cherish her memory are her mother Irene Busch; her brother Dale (Linda) Busch; her sisters Arleane (Dennis) MacDonald and Donna Beck; her mother-in-law Edna Frith; her brothers-in-law Larry (Jan) Frith, Patrick (Connie) Frith and Russel (Jan) Frith; her sisters-in-law Deanie Hamel, Cathey (Mike) Dvorak and Wendy (Carol) Frith as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father William “Bill” Busch; her father-in-law Ray Frith; her brothers Rod and Bernie Busch and her sister Sharlaine Anderson. Joan worked as a legal secretary in Edmonton and Portland, Oregon before retiring to the farm near Prince Albert. There she persued a writing career authoring two history books on the Prince Albert City Police and the Prince Albert Exhibition Association as well as numerous articles, stories and poems. Joan will be forever loved and sadly missed. A Private Family Gathering will be held at a later date.
