Annie was born in Rural Saskatchewan in the R.M. of Duck Lake and moved to the City of Prince Albert in her teens. During WWII, she met her future husband Joe who was involved in military training at the time. They settled in northern Ontario where they lived until Joe’s untimely passing in 1977. Annie then returned to Prince Albert to assist her aging parents. She was actively involved in health care volunteerism and kept busy with her many positions and outdoor activities with her family. Her warm personality and caring nature will be long remembered by all who knew Annie. Annie is survived by her son Lionel Green; her sisters Vera Kit, Hilda Jones and Adeline McDowell and her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Joe Green; her parents David and Helena Pauls; her brother Wally Pauls and her sister Freida McGunigal. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Dennis Serfas, Director Spiritual Care, Prince Albert Parkland Health Region officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Herb Bassett Home, 1220 – 25th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 4N9.
