He was born on February 9, 1952 in Hearst, ON. Claude worked for the Prince Albert Pulp and Paper Mill for over 37 years. He made many friends there and enjoyed fishing up at Besnard Lake with his Pulp Mill buddies. After the closing of the Prince Albert Pulp and Paper Mill he found his second passion-driving school bus for Hertz Bus Lines. He spent hours laughing about his entertaining days while driving school bus.
Most importantly, Claude enjoyed his family and spending his summers at Emma Lake with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing with the family and taking the grandkids tubing and water skiing behind his pontoon. While his boys were young he spent many hours in the hockey rink watching their hockey games. He also enjoyed ski-dooing on the trails at Emma Lake with his family and friends. When his grandchildren came along he became a proud Pépé and watched them swim, skate and play hockey.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Monday July 4 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, by Father Maurice Fiolleau. Interment of cremated remains will take place in the Garden of Sermon on the Mount, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
