WOODROW – Anna Rebecca (Jordheim) of Kyle, SK born on February 5, 1923, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Kyle Health Centre.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Clearwater Lutheran Church in Kyle, SK. with Reverend Kristin Soveran officiating. The ushers were Darryl Jordheim, Stan Jordheim and Laine Jordheim. The organist was Leslie Dyrland and special music by grandchildren Jada Woodrow and Miranda James. The honorary pallbearers were all those who celebrated her life. The interment took place at Clearwater Cemetery.
Anna attended Horse Butte School. She worked as mother’s helper until she married James E. Woodrow on March 24, 1942 at the Zion Lutheran Church. They took up married life on the farm located in the Perone District. She is survived by her four children: Arletta Brown; Emily Berquist (Gary) children Rebecca Choma (Rodney), Breanna, Hayden and David Berquist (Cody, Samantha, and Wyatt); Rodney Woodrow (Linda) children James Woodrow (Jolie) Jada, Emersyn, Kade), Lisa O’Connor (Luke, Shanelle, Mark), Miranda James (Peter); Kandace Valentine (Randy) Karissa, Patricia (Ken Powell), Nicole James (Darren); brothers, Sigvald Jordheim (Ruby) and Floyd Jordheim as well as two sister-in-laws, Viola Jordheim and Margaret Jordheim; cousins Audrey Melbo, Sigrid (Strom) Pernella, Magnus (Nora) Strom and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband James E. Woodrow, her parents Knut and Camilla Jordheim; brothers Ronald, Andrew and Kenneth and also sister-in-law Shirley Jordheim.
