Marlene Marie Nowoselsky
(October 13, 1955 – August 25, 2011)
Marlene was born on October 13, 1955 in Balcarres, SK and passed away in Prince Albert, SK on Thursday, August 25, 2011.
Marlene grew up in Fort Qu’Appelle. She moved to Prince Albert in 1986 where she raised her five children and operated a home based day care for many years. Marlene enjoyed making meals for family and holidays at her house were always special and much appreciated by her family. She loved to watch football with her “boys” and spoil them with great meals. Marlene was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She will be especially loved and remembered as a special “Nana” by all the families and children she has shared her home with over the years.
Marlene is survived by her mother Isabel Segouin of Fort Qu’Appelle; her “soul mate” in life Lorn Ramstead; her children Jennifer Nowoselsky and her son Brady, Crystal Nowoselsky (Frank Harris) and their children Ashley, Austin, Andrew and Connor, Terry Nowoselsky, Ryan Nowoselsky, Carmen (Aaron) Engel and their children Alexis, Bodhi, and Drea; Lorn’s parents Lyle and Emily Ramstead and his children Cory and Jill Ramstead and their son Zachery and Chrissy Ramstead; her siblings Rita (Don) Fuchs, Robert (Linda) Segouin, Rod (Loriann) Segouin, Annette (Kelly) Cooper as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Henry Segouin and her daughter Nicole Nowoselsky.
At Marlene’s request a private family service will be held. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society.
