It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father Ed Buck. Ed was born on March 26, 1951, the youngest of 12 children born to William and Ella Buck. He graduated from Mount Royal Collegiate where he was a well known wrestler and football player.
Ed started his career at the Saskatchewan Penitentiary as a Correctional Officer in 1973 and retired after 31 years of service. Ed’s children and his grandchildren were the light of his life. Ed was delighted to have recently reconnected with his first child Colleen. Ed spent many hours watching his family in their many sporting activities. Ed’s numerous friends will miss him at coffee row and at the pool table at the Army and Navy.
Ed is survived by his children Colleen (daughter Logan); Tammy (Jeff); Tyler (Leanne). His six grandchildren: Mathew, Mason, Katie, Caleb, Sydney and Logan; his siblings: Garnet, Nora, Pearl, Jerry (Darlene), Jean (George), Billy, Betty (Eugene) and Arlene. He is predeceased by his parents William and Ella Buck, his brothers, Raymond, Larry, Roy and his godchild Christopher Michel.
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held on Thursday, January 12th at the Army and Navy Air Force Veterans Hall, 25- 11th St West at 2:00 p.m. Lunch to follow.
