Edith Taylor
Edith Taylor (nee Mason) late of Prince Albert, formerly of Melfort and Kinistino, passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 22, 2012 at Mont St. Joseph Home at the age of 89. She was born in Melfort and married Cecil in 1942. They settled in Kinistino to raise their family. They moved to Melfort in 1968 where they lived until moving to Prince Albert in 1998. She was an ardent curler and rarely missed watching it on TV. She loved to read, knit and crochet. She was happiest when in the company of her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil; her parents Joe and Ellen Mason; her brother Joe and son-in-law Ray Short. She is survived by her daughter Eileen Short; her son Ray (Beth) Taylor; grandchildren Ricky (Carla) Short, Randy (Carol Ann) Short, Patricia (Bruce) Gedak, Darrin Taylor and Darrell (Darla) Taylor; great grandchildren Kyle and Taylor Short, Connor and Alexandra Short, Matthew and Joshua Gedak and Logan Taylor, sister-in-law Shirley Mason; brother-in-law Jim (Lil) Taylor and sister-in-law Winnie Taylor. The family would like to thank the staff of Mont St. Joseph Home for the terrific work they do and the care they give. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Eldon Danielson officiating. Interment will be held at Kinistino Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Mont St. Joseph Foundation, 777 – 28 Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 8C2.
