Kendra Arlene Kerr (McJuray)
Kendra was born on July 9th, 1973 in Melfort Saskatchewan. All of her schooling occurred in Melfort and culminated in 1991 when she graduated from Melfort Unit Comprehensive Collegiate. She spent her first few years after graduation working at various jobs, but found her niche in 2004 when she began working at Advantage Credit Union in marketing. On July 17th of that same year she married her husband, Randy and together built a marriage based on trust, laughter and love that came naturally and easy regardless of what life lay before them and their children.
Besides coffee, Kendra’s greatest passions were books, writing, decorating (especially for the holidays), friends and family, with motherhood the most important of all. Loving, elegant, genuine, compassionate and always full of poise and grace, she touched any and all people who she came in contact with.
She is survived by her husband, Randy, children, Mackenzie and Tegan, and pets, Puddy and Sugar along with her parents Ken and Sherry McJuray, sister, Tori and her children, as well as Mom and Dad Kerr and sisters-in-law Kerry and Cindy and their respective families.
My Auntie Kendra
My Auntie Kendra is one of the most genuine people. She shares many of her admiring qualities with a piece of silk.
Like a piece of silk, she is exceptionally beautiful. Because of its fibres, silk reflects light which makes it shine. In any light Auntie Kendra is always shining and always bright.
Like a piece of silk she is soft and warm. Silk is soothing and so is she. She never fails to make your day, or make you smile with her gentle nature and kind heart.
Silk is one of the strongest natural fibres, and just like it, my Auntie Kendra is the strongest person I know. She is brave, persistent and resilient.
Like a piece of silk she is classy and elegant. Well-favoured and adored. Intelligent and wonderful.
Whenever I see a piece of silk, I am reminded of my Auntie Kendra. I am reminded of how much I love her and each and every one of her brilliant characteristics.
