Jeffrey David Leland

Jeff passed away peacefully on May 16, 2012 with family by his side. He was born on May 11, 1975 in Prince Albert, SK to Dave and Donna Leland. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hockey and just about anything else he could do outdoors. Jeff always put family and friends before himself and that family love will always be something that he is remembered for. He did have one other love that even exceeded his great love for his family, and that was his deep love for his Savior Jesus Christ. It was that love and personal relationship with Jesus that influenced and inspired his love and appreciation for his family and friends. Jeff's love and faith in Jesus was a characteristic that was unquestionable and evident in everything that Jeff did in life. Jeff was a man who loved Jesus and his faith in his God was the rock in which he stood upon each and every day. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 8 years Tamara and their children Brock, Halle, Bodhi and their expected arrival in July; his parents Dave and Donna Leland; sister Carrie (Ray) Boyd and their family Jack, Reagan, Bridgette and Tommy; brother Chad (Lynn) and their family Claire and Emma; his grandfather Clarence Christianson; parents-in-law Bob and Vickie Akins; brothers and sister-in-law Shenan, Tara, Sean and Sheldon and their spouses and families; as well as numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his grandparents Anton & Carrie Leland and Esther Christianson. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Lake Park Baptist Church, Birch Hills, SK with Pastor Matthew Teigrob officiating. Interment will be held at the Weldon Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Trust Fund for Jeff's children c/o Advantage Credit Union.
