We are saddened to announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

Left to cherish her memory are:
Her two loving daughters: Alvina Whitstone and Denise Bear (Edmonton Alberta) and one son: Gregory Bear (Waldheim, SK.)
Three special granddaughters: Bobbie-Jo, Marcie Bear, and Twyla Whitstone-Rain.
Four special grandsons: Murray, Theron (Samantha), Ty Whitstone-Rain, and Shayne Guenette (all of Edmonton, AB.)
Five great granddaughters: Samantha, Shaylene, Marcella, Breanna Bear, and Victoria Burns.
Five great grandsons: Dominic and Jason Bear, Colin Burns, Drayell and Greyson Whitstone.
One great great granddaughter: Ella Makokis-Oxebin Bear
Three sisters: Alvina Rider (Carry the Kettle), Helen Tootoosis (Red Pheasant) and Sharon Paskimin (Sweatgrass.) As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

She was predeceased by:
Her loving husband: Colin Bear (2005)
Her son: Raymond Bear (1970)
Her mother: Amelia Baptiste (2009)
Her father: Leo Thomas
Her step-father: George Baptiste (1982)
Her special grandsons: Marcel Whitstone (2003) and Drayton Whitstone (2004)
Her brothers: Archie Baptiste (2003) and Joe Baptiste (2009)
Her grandmother: Mary Kiskotagan (1991)
Her grandfather: Edward Kistotagan (1993), as well as numerous relatives
