It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather William Feschuk. He took his last breath at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon after a brief illness. Bill is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary (nee Sacharuk) and children Sharon Feschuk (Peter), Sandra Klashinsky (Rod), Ron Feschuk (Janice) and their children Jaxon and Krista, Russ Feschuk (Leslie) and their daughter Sarah. He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Annie Feschuk; his parents-in-law Harry and Dorothy Sacharuk; his sister and brother-in-law Mary and Peter Jaspar; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Elizabeth and Larry Smith. Bill was born on the farm near Meath Park where he lived and worked his entire life. He was an active member of many community organizations including the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool and the Meath Park Curling Club. He served as mayor of Meath Park for many years and was a member of the board of the Prince Albert Credit Union. Bill had a projectionist’s license and operated the Deluxe Theatre in Meath Park for 25 years. He learned the manual alphabet to communicate with his sister Mary. Bill was a welder, mechanic, plumber, electrician, veterinarian, carpenter, gardener, Kaiser expert and chickadee whisperer. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time at the Meath Park Seniors Club and socializing around a card table at the casino. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 589 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Val Bodnaryk officiating.
