KRAWEC, Polly, late of Prince Albert, passed away on August 16, 2012 in Prince Albert, at the age of 97 years. Polly was born in the Ukraine on December 27, 1914. She spent some of her younger years in Weirdale and then moved to Prince Albert, SK. She had a passion for gardening, making perogies and tending to her apple trees. She loved canning and making homemade jam. She spent numerous hours making beautiful needle point pieces and stunning Ukrainian Easter eggs. She was strong willed and minded. Polly was never afraid to speak her mind, and knew what she wanted. She was well loved and will be missed. Polly is survived by her son: Palmer Bilash; her grand-daughters: Heather (Adam) Wolch of Saskatoon, SK, Ashley (John) Pozniak of Craven, SK, and Lori (Barney) Bartley of Prince Albert, SK; her grandson: Rick (JoAnne) Bilash of Prince Albert ; her great-grand-children: Abigail, Hannah, Isabella, Shawn and Jamie; her daughter-in-law: Frances Bilash; and her close friends: Jessie Korpess and Joanne Dryka. Polly was predeceased by her first husband Louis Bilash; her second husband Joe Krawec; her son Orest Bilash; as well as numerous sisters and brothers. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 7:00 pm, at MacKenzie Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10:00 am, at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Prince Albert, SK, with Father Michael Lomaszkiewicz as officiant.
