MCLEOD – Wilbert Roy Late of Prince Albert (Buckland District), loving husband of Lorene. Wilbert was born on December 16, 1927. Passed away August 15, 2012. He is survived by his wife, four children, ten Grandchildren, seven Great Grandchildren, and three sisters.
Wilbert was a man of many abilities – He was a farmer, a carpenter, a trucker, justice worker and a business man. He married Lorene in 1949, and lived in Buckland for 63 years. His last large venture was owning and operating the Wil-Mac Septic business at Candle Lake and area, which he retired from in 2000 only to go on to landscaping and assorted small ventures. We must not forget his ability to grow the best potatoes in the area. He also loved to play the banjo and entertain friends and family.
There will be a graveside service held at the Prince Albert Memorial Gardens (North of the Office) on August 22 at 2:00 P.M. followed by a Celebration of Life at the Heritage Centre – 1211 – 1st Ave. West, Prince Albert.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
