Patricia Ann Baird
1946 – 2012

Baird – Patricia Ann (nee Sutton) passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on August 29, 2012. Pat was born on March 19, 1946 in Prince Albert, SK. She was raised in Prince Albert and attended school at King George, PACI and the Convent. Pat married Murray Baird and they lived in Prince Albert and mostly at Emma Lake. Pat loved nothing more than family and friend get togethers and prepared many large family meals. She loved her years at Emma Lake enjoying walking, hiking, fishing, days on the beach and her yard. She spent many years collecting antiques, yard sales and selling on E-Bay and at the antique store. Pat always loved animals and there were always cats and dogs as part of the family. Pat will be sadly missed by her loving husband Murray; her sons Bradley of Emma Lake and Warren (Kim & Jbash) of Montreal, QC; granddaughter Kaia whom she loved so much; sisters Myrna Elmquist of Brantford, ON and Raylene Sutton of Langley, BC; sisters-in-law Linda Hansen of Emma Lake, SK and Susan (David) Lindskog of Winnipeg, MB and numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her mother and father Julie and Gordon Sutton; brother Fred Sutton; brothers-in-law Doug Elmquist and Paul Hansen and mother and father-in-law Ruth and Jim Baird. Pat was a wonderful wife, mother and proud grandmother. We would like to thank all of our friends and neighbors for all their love and support during this difficult time. Thank you also to Dr. Lanoie and Dr. Unsworth for all of the comfort and care they provided Pat. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Major Glenn S. Patey officiating. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the SPCA, PO Box 1832, Prince Albert, SK S6V 6J9. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
