Estelle Fortier (née Lalonde)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious mother, Estelle Fortier, née Lalonde. Mom was one of the eldest of 16 children, born and raised in Zenon Park, SK. At the age of 21, mom married her love, and our father, Paul Fortier, sharing 62 years at each other's side. Together, they raised 11 children and were blessed with 26 grandchildren, each forever grateful for every moment in her presence. To those who knew her, mom was the absolute embodiment of love. For this, she will be so dearly missed. We would like to invite you to celebrate her life and love with us. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5. 2012 with Sister Renee Buliard. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2012 with celebrant Reverend Father Emile April. Both services will be held at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 589 – 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held at South Hill Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
