MRS. EVA MARIE MCKEEN
1916 – 2012
Mrs. Eva Marie McKeen, age 96, of Prince Albert, SK passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012. She was born near Oconto, Nebraska. At age 11 her family moved to the Fenton-Davis area where they farmed for many years. She married Harold Arthur McKeen in 1938. They made their home in Prince Albert. Eva was an avid gardener and homemaker. She spent many enjoyable summer days at the family cottage. She loved to travel. Eva was a loving wife and mother. She treasured her friends. She is survived by her son Kenneth (Shirley) McKeen; her daughter Carole (Lee) McKeen-Goodfellow; her grandchildren Trent (Patty) McKeen and Paula (Greg) Stevens; four great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren Christie and Jody Goodfellow. Eva was predeceased by her loving husband Harold McKeen; her mother Bertha Yont; her father John McNulty; her step-father Herbert Yont; sisters Margaret Brown and Etta Detweiler; step-brothers Glen and Earl Yont. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 15 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Reception will follow at River Park. A private family interment will take place in the Garden of Christus, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
