Rose Disiewich (nee Mardell) age 65, beloved wife of Earl Disiewich of Prince Albert, SK passed away on September 30, 2012. Rose is survived by her loving husband Earl; her daughter Denise (Shawn) Williams & their two sons Brett and Kyle; her son Greg (Carla Evashenko & her daughter Jelena); her mother Helen Mardell; her sisters Stella (Keith) Newberry & their children Scot (Caroline) & their children Meghan, Abbey & Lily, Nancy Newberry & her children Brook & Blaise; Val (Mike) Hientz & their children Dana (Nathan) Turnbull & Leah Hientz (Corey Dick); her brother Ambrose Mardell (Jessie Sullivan); her brothers-in-law Emil (Irene) Disiewich & their children Jason (Carmen) & their children Nicholas, Harmony & Lucas; Errin (Wes) Thompson & their children Tesa & Tavin; Wally (Karen) Disiewich & their children Brad, Kelly (Morgan) & their daughter Ella and her sister-in-law Kathy Disiewich (Murray Thomas) and her children Kaylon, Alyssia & her son Kashton. She was predeceased by her father Anthony Mardell, her mother-in-law Nellie (Grypiuk) Disiewich and her father-in-law Walter Disiewich. Rose was born November 1, 1946 in Prince Albert, SK. She married the love of her life Earl, on June 11, 1966. Rose was an avid Raider fan, 41 years and counting. She always had an impressive flower, vegetable garden and orchard that was a source of pride. Rose especially enjoyed large family gathering where her cooking was the centerpiece time and time again. She loved when grandchildren, nieces and nephews would visit the farm for her to dote on them. Rose had numerous jobs, North Park Centre, running her restaurant at the Stockyards, a mobile canteen at auctions. She especially loved working at Candle Lake Provincial Park where she enjoyed every aspect of her job. Family and friends were a very important part of Rose’s life and being involved in their activities kept her busy. Many hours were spent with her grandchildren and supporting them in their endeavors. Most of all she loved being on the farm with Earl enjoying life. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 with Sister Renée Buliard officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 with Celebrant Reverend Father Roque Concepcion. Both services will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held at South Hill Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
