Mrs. Juliette Francine (née Rabut) Lefaivre passed away at the age of 94 on Friday, October 5, 2012 in Prince Albert, SK. Juliette is survived by her loving family: her two sons Leo Lefaivre (Liz Renz) of Weyakwin and Romeo (Marilyn) Lefaivre of Calgary; her daughter Phyllis Ernst of Kamloops; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; her two brothers Rene Rabut and Armand Rabut; her two sons-in-law Wayne Akers of Prince Albert and Vern Russell of Chilliwack as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Hubert Lefaivre (2005); her two daughters Diana Russell (2002) and Ella Akers (1999); her daughter-in-law Betty Lefaivre (2005); her son-in-law Stan Ernst (2011); her parents Pierre (1972) and Eliza (née Ethier) (1987) Rabut. Juliette was born on April 2, 1918 in Domremy, SK and married Hubert Lefaivre in 1937 and farmed in Hoey, SK. They moved to Prince Albert in 1956 and remained there until her passing. In Prince Albert she kept boarders from 1956 until 1997. She enjoyed going to her cabin at Weyakwin, fishing, dancing and playing bingo and cards. Juliette was an avid Raider fan, never missing a game on the radio. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Pastor Dennis Serfas will officiate. Interment will take place in the Domremy Cemetery. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
