It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gordon Edward Victor Sterling, late of Canwood, announce his passing on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the age of 96 years. The Memorial Service for Gordon will take place on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the Parkside Immanuel Lutheran Church. Pastor Chris Dean will officiate and interment will take place in Shellbrook Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Gordon to either the Shellbrook & Districts Health Services Project or to the Whispering Pine Place Care Home.
