Dulcie Agnes Barzeele
January 20, 1924 – October 27, 2012
Dulcie passed away at the Victoria Hospital on Saturday, October 27, 2012. She was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on January 20, 1924. Dulcie was a war bride, and made the long trip to Saskatchewan in 1945. She lived a long and full life as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was active in the CWL, Daughters of Isabella, Pink Ladies, Meals on Wheels and Home Care Volunteer Swimming. Dulcie will be lovingly remembered by her children Yvonne (Clint) Stewart of Las Vegas, NV, Brenda (David) Walter of Prince Albert, Dulcie Mary (Bob) Charles of Prince Albert, William (Marlene) of Little Bear Lake and Rick (Laurie) of Saskatoon; her nine grandchildren Owen (Deanna), Chris (Breeana) and Mark (Laura) Walter; Clark (Camille) Barzeele, Heather (Mike) Chow; Blair (Lindsi Kruczko) and Justin (Brittany) Barzeele; Christina and Anne Marie Charles; her four great grandchildren; as well as her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Cyril; her parents John and Agnes Clark; an infant brother and two older sisters. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gordon Surkan and Angie Kopera and Kopera Care Home staff. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Private Family Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the SPCA, PO Box 1832, Prince Albert, SK S6V 2J9.
