SANDRA JEAN SHARPE
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving mother, Sandra Jean Sharpe (nee Boyer), of Saskatoon, SK on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the age of 51 years. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Melissa and Robert Boyer-Thomas, Jennifer Glawson and Melivin Alkestrup, John and Tracy Perlitz, Tammy and Dusty Delorme, Miles Perlitz and Lorel Boyer, Erin Sharpe and Kevin Sharpe; her grandchildren Darryl, Darnell, Delaney, Orion, Lauren, Lennix, Kurtis, Tasha, Samuel, Jonah, Presley, Maddison, Benny, Cody, Adam, Wyatt, Issac and Baby Serinity; her mother Rose Boyer; her sisters and brothers Linda and Glen Morin, Karen and Richard Starr, Donna Boyer, Bobby and Joyce Boyer, Gary and Cheryl Boyer, Russell and Coreen Boyer, Phillip and Gail Boyer, Douglas Boyer as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends that she held dear to her heart. Sandra was predeceased by her infant daughter Sandra Rose Boyer in 1976; her father Felix Ovide Boyer in 1991 and her nephew Felix Douglas James Boyer in 2011. We would like to thank her loving and caring friends that meant so much to her Lena, Sandy, Kevin and the many others who had made their church her second family, aunt Gladys and Ashley who gave her strength and solitude and her co-workers at Giant Tiger which she loved being a department manager. Her family would also like to say thank you to the wonderful doctors and nurses at the University of Alberta Hospital, Cross Cancer Institute, the Saskatoon Cancer Centre and especially the Palliative team at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. You truly were amazing!! With the grace of God she was strong and courageous to have fought so hard throughout her ordeal with cancer. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 5 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Rob Pierce will officiate. Interment will take place in the South Hill Cemetery. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society.
