Juan “John” Guerequeta
1951 – 2012

John passed away suddenly at the Victoria Hospital on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK with his family by his side. He was born in Spain on January 1, 1951. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barb; his two sons Marcos and Nicolas; his siblings LuDivina (Joseph), MaAsun (Inaki), Theresa (Jose Ramon) and Itxaso (Javier); his mother and father-in-law Ike and Christal Gerstner; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Vera (Ken), Rita (Archie), Riener (Corrine), Diana (Wayne), Norman (Janice) Sandra (Randy), Alvis (Brenda) and Lisa; 29 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Maria Pilar (nee Ugalde) and Juan Cruz Guerequeta. A Celebration of John’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to a Ride “4” Charlie, RR 5, Site 18, Box 33, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5R3. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
