It is with great sadness that the family of Martha Field announce her unexpected passing on Sunday, January 13, 2013 in the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. at the age of 83 years. Martha was born on Nov. 9, 1929 in Shellbrook, SK. to Hjalmar and Elfrieda Johanson.

Martha leaves to cherish her memory;Her husband, Stuart Field of Shellbrook, SK., Her daughter, Terry (Duff) Friesen of Prince Albert, SK., Her grandchildren, Tamaris (Kyle) Borysiuk of Prince Albert, SK., Courtney Friesen of Prince Albert, SK., Hailee Friesen of Prince Albert, SK., Meghan (Jaret) Mayer of Prince Albert, SK. and their children, Chalei and Judah, Her brothers and sister,Norman (Chris) Johanson of Summerland, BC., Rudy (Evelyn) Johanson of Port Alberni, BC., Margaret (Buddy) Malone of Duncanville, TX., numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Martha was predeceased by; Her daughter, Paulette Stead, Her brother, Douglas (Hazel) Johanson,Her parents, Hjalmar and Elfrieda Johanson .

The Celebration of Life will be held in Shellbrook Pentecostal Church on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Glen Stead as Officiant. The Pianist will be Marlene Smart. The Honorary Pallbearers will be “All of Martha’s family and friends who knew and loved her.”

Interment will be in Shellbrook Cemetery.

Beau”Lac” Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
