Anne Trach
1928 – 2013
With deepest sadness, we announce the passing of Anne Trach on February 5, 2013. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Our wife, mother and grandmother was a beautiful person. She was patient, kind and gentle. She was also a wonderful listener. Although she enjoyed many loyal friends and hobbies, her first love was her family. Anne is survived by Fred Trach, her husband of 64 years; her children and grandchildren Larry (Claire) Trach and Kelly and Jillian; Linda (Paul) Bec and Ryan, David, Karen and Suzanne; Marilyn (Craig) Elmer and Sean and Catherine; her two sisters Olga (Jerry) Chambul and Sylvia (Bill) Zacharki and her sister-in-law, Mary Neschuk. She was predeceased by her son Paul in 1977. His tragic passing forever changed her life. She was also predeceased by her parents Nikola Hlibchuk, Mary Krechowec and her stepfather John Krechowec. Anne was a hard working farm wife who raised four children, but she also enjoyed work her entire life – as a teacher, an assistant lab tech, in the Pulp Mill kitchen and as a Land Titles Clerk. The family wishes to especially thank the wonderful nursing staff at the Victoria Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Halyk and staff, and Father Ivan. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013 at St. Georges Ukrainian Catholic Church, 771 – 14th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with celebrant Reverend Father Ivan. Interment will be held at South Hill Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Victoria Hospital Palliative Care Unit. We will miss her dearly but know that God has taken an angel. Her spirit will forever light our lives.
