Madeleine Lucille Marie Gareau
Madeleine, aged 91, of Saskatoon (formerly of Bellevue) died peacefully on February 9th, at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children, Claude, Emilienne, Marcel, Aline, Simone, Irène, Georgette, Gaston, Laurent, and Jocelyne, and their partners; 30 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Yolande (Saül Théorêt), Rita Prince; brother, Sylvio (Norma) Gaudet ; and sister-in-law, Odile Pouliot. She was predeceased by her husband, Georges; her parents, Adrien and Valéda Gaudet; her brother, Maurice; sisters, Yvette, Laurence, Gilberte, Carmen and Emilienne. A public viewing will take place Tuesday, February 12th, from 7-9 pm at Mourning Glory Funeral Services, 1201 8th Street East, Saskatoon. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13th, at Église Saints Martyrs Canadiens, 1007 Windsor Street, Saskatoon. Rite of Committal will follow at Bellevue Cemetery, after the luncheon. If people so desire, a donation may be made to the CNIB, 1705 McKercher Drive, Saskatoon, S7H 5N6. The family will also be grateful for donations for masses in Madeleine's memory.
