GLADYS JENKINS
Gladys Marie Dora Jenkins, age 73, of Prince Albert passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013 with family by her side. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Father Maurice Fiolleau will officiate. Gladys is survived by her loving family: her son Kirk and his children Jason Thurber, Jodi, Kirk Jr., Aaron, Dylan; her son Mark (Patty) and their children Devon, Robby; her son Bert (Michelle) and his children Bret, Jared; her son David (Vanessa) and his children Darcey and Michael; her daughter Pam (Peter) Kneeshaw and her children Jamie and Brandon Nyberg; six great-grandchildren; a very special companion Garry Deguire; her brother Patrick Pocha; her sister Philis (Doug) Mathers as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by: her parents Edward and Juliette (nee Fleury) Pocha; her brother Louis Pocha; a son-in-law Walter Nyberg; her parents-in-law Norman and Edna Jenkins and numerous aunts and uncles. Gladys was born on February 4, 1940 at St. Laurent, and came to live in Prince Albert as a child and has lived here most of her life. She was employed as a chef for 29 years in Prince Albert. A private family interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to a charity of the donor’s choice.
