It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Wayne Haydukewich announces his passing on March 7, 2013 in Saskatoon, SK. Brian was born in Prince Albert, SK on October 9, 1950, the third of 6 children to Matilda (Tillie) and Joe Haydukewich. He is survived by his wife: Bev; and his children and grandchildren: Kelly and his children Carson & Paige; Shelly (John) Hayter and their sons Roman & Ryker. Brian lived at Candle Lake his entire life. When he was 20 years old he married his high school sweetheart and settled into their lake-front home where he remained for 42 years. Brian inherited a strong work ethic and worked as a Heavy Duty Mechanic for 40 years. Brian enjoyed hockey, curling, and football and of course was a diehard Roughriders fan. His love of the outdoors was evident with trapping, hunting, fishing, and even wild rice planting on his resume. Brian was an animal lover, always having a dog or cat at his side. We would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all our family for being our rocks during such a difficult time. A Funeral Service will take place on March 14, 2013 ~ 2:00 pm at the Candle Lake Community Church, Candle Lake, SK. Memorial donations may be made to the Candle Lake Community Church, PO Box 90, Candle Lake, SK S0J 3E0 or the Candle Lake Curling Club, PO Box 284, Candle Lake, SK S0J 3E0. Arrangements in care of Northern Funeral Service, MacKenzie Chapel. Brian and Bev Stobbs, Funeral Directors. 306.763.8488 www.northernfuneralservice.ca
