1931 – 2013
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Jack Pyper, (age 82) on March 9, 2013 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert. Jack was born in Edmonton and grew up in Edson before moving to Prince Albert. Jack was predeceased by his parents John and Bessie; brother Jim; first wife Betty Jean and son David. Jack was employed as a supervisor at Canada Employment prior to working at Weyerhaeuser until retirement. Jack loved playing and watching golf, stamp collecting, a member of the Masonic Lodge, enjoyed big band music, travelling and spending time with family were also among his passions. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Adeline (Addie) Kindrachuk; daughter Donna (Randy) Schrader; brother Don Pyper; sister-in-law Joyce (Harold) Tabler; grandchildren Bobbie-Jean, Karlie, Nathan, Charlene and Sherilyn; stepsons Kevin (Kathy) and Ken Kindrachuk and other nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. DeBeer, nurses and staff at the Victoria Union Hospital for their compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date to commemorate Jack’s life and memory. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
