Rock Rene Joseph Gignac
Rock Gignac of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan passed away at the age of 50 on March 14, 2013. Born August 25, 1962 to Rudolph and Georgette Gignac, Rock was the youngest of five children who were raised on the farm in Albertville; he loved working side by side with his Dad on the farm. Rock always called PA home. He was an amazingly handy guy and found his passion in maintenance. Rock was a precise man and was always willing to figure out how to fix something! The kind and compassionate man that Rock was will be sorely missed by his wife of 23 years, Laura, and his sons, Kyle and Lee. Rock loved his boys and his wife deeply. He is also survived by his parents Rudolph and Georgette Gignac, sisters Jackie McInnis (Earl) and Yoland Fearon (Roy), brother in law Gordon Mayoh, father and mother in law Don and Elaine McDonald, Heather Dennill (Clark), Jamie McDonald (Maureen), Bonnie McMurtry (Dan), many nieces and nephews and Rock’s special aunties Elise, Angeline, and Helene. He was predeceased by his sisters Vivian Mayoh and Darlene Gignac who he is dancing in heaven with now. A private family celebration of Rock’s life will be held. The angels are lucky today. A beautiful soul has joined them. Friends and relatives can leave their condolence message to the family at Gray’s Funeral Chapel (www.grays.ca).
