Herschel Davidner

Davidner, Herschel Jack, late of Prince Albert, passed away on April 10, 2013, in Prince Albert, SK at the age 86 years. Herschel was born the youngest of four children to Samuel and Esther Davidner on August 20, 1926 in Swift Current, SK. Herschel was named Citizen of the Year (Prince Albert) in 1982. He supported The United Way, 4-H Beef Club, Lions Club, Royal Canadian Legion and The Canadian Club to list a few. Herschel is lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years: Jean V. Davidner; his son: Les H. (Karen) Davidner and their children: Sarah and Amy; his daughter: Leah M. (Sandy) Towill and their children: Lisa Robinson (Greg Breeze) and their children: Mary-Jane, Keenan and Marlie; Jamie (Steven) Baschuk and their child: Jackson; and Shane (Leah) Robinson and their child: Rachael; Donovan (Sarah) Hamilton and their child: Halle; his son: Mark (Lynne) Davidner and their children: Jordan, Jenna and Justin; and his sisters: Petty Landa and her children: Carella, Elaine and Murray; Shirley Davidner; Rhoda (Albert) Broudy and their children: Harry, Debbie and Sandy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents: Samuel and Esther Davidner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Herschel’s memory to a charity of donor’s choice. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 – 11:00 am at MacKenzie Chapel, 130 9th Street East, Prince Albert, SK, with Legion honours.
