Regina Mary (Salaye) Hryhor
1923 – 2013
Regina passed away on April 11, 2013. She was born September 6, 1923 in Weirdale, SK to Regina and John Salaye. Regina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She married William (Bill) in 1940 then moved to Northern Ontario. They returned to Weirdale and ran the A-1 Cafe for many years. Bill’s job took them to Prince Albert, Kelowna and Calgary before they retired back to Prince Albert in 1990. Mom and dad spent many wonderful years travelling around the country camping while visiting friends and relatives. Mom loved to cook and could make the most amazing meals out of nothing. Regina was predeceased by her husband Bill; her parents; her sisters Lillian and Louise; her brother John and her daughter-in-law Brenda. She is survived by her three sons David (Lois), Donald (Theresa) of Calgary and William of Vancouver; her grandchildren and great grandchildren David (Camey), Kobe and Chace, Shannon (Erik) and Nicholas (Lindsay) and her siblings Evelyn, Elizabeth, Margaret, Andrew and their families. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 at St. David’s Anglican Church, 500 – 24th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with The Reverend Norbert Haukenfrers officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, Lorne Adams, Funeral Director.
