Charles, Hazel Marion, late of Prince Albert and formerly of Sturgeon Lake, passed away in Prince Albert, SK on April 23, 2013, at the age of 80 years. Hazel was born in Wahpeton, SK on November 23, 1932. Hazel will be lovingly remembered by her children: Norman Charles, Valerie (Jeromy) Charles, Catherine Charles and Melanie Heppner; her 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Art (Esther) Fourstar, Leo Fourstar and Percy (Noreen) Fourstar, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel was predeceased by her parents: Robert & Mary Jane (nee Ballantyne) Fourstar; the father of her children: John George Charles; her son: John Dwayne Charles; her daughters: Marilyn Charles and Susan Charles; her grandson: Stephen Charles; her granddaughters: Abigail Charles and Evelyn Reiner; her siblings: Gordon Fourstar, David Fourstar, Evelyn Fourstar, Olive Fourstar and Doris Fourstar.

A Wake Service is commencing April 24, 2013, 4pm, at Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, Sturgeon Lake, SK.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 – 11:00 am, at Sturgeon Lake Community Centre, Sturgeon Lake, SK, with Rev. Ruth Ross and Rev. Sam Halkett as officiants.

Interment at West Central Cemetery, Sturgeon Lake, SK.
