Maurice Joseph Poulin
September 9, 1923 – July 12, 2013

It is with great sadness that we, the family of Maurice Poulin, announce his passing at the age of 89, on the day of his and his wife Auréa’s 62nd wedding anniversary, after a brief illness at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert. He leaves to mourn his wife, Auréa (Brulé); two sons: Normand (Carol) and Robert; three daughters: Florette (Eddie) Doucette, Bernadette (Danny) Ramsdell, and Colette (Ronnie) Owens; grandchildren: Darren, Jennifer, Chad, Tara, Jasmine, Keenan, Kaden, Karen, Kerri-Lynn, and Ryan and great grandchildren: Cody, Noah, Tyler, Alyssa, Corah, Porter, Finnley, Kade, Van, Rooke, Tripp, and Lou. He is also survived by his sister Beatrice Zurowski; brother Ernest (Simone); sister Aurelia (Lucien) Bremner; sister-in-law Hélène Poulin and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Agnes (Lambert) and Joseph Poulin; his brothers Paul and Wilfrid; his sister Antoinette; his two brothers in infancy Leonard and Henri; his sister in infancy Aurelia, and two brothers-in-law Eugene Beauchesne and August Zurowski. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday July 18, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Matthew Nguyen. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, Memorial Donations can be made to the Palliative Care, Level 5 c/o Victoria Hospital, 1200 – 24th Street West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5T4.
