November 8, 1919 – July 20, 2013

Marion passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband Allan Nelson (1944); her husband Raymond Clark (1991); her parents Charles & Gladys Hiltz; brother-in-law Charles Smith; niece Bonnie Hartman and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews on the Clark side. She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Smith, Lillian Hiltz, Gwen (Stan) Johnston and their families and many nieces and nephews on the Clark side. She is also survived by her daughters Patricia (Dr. Walter) Hartzell (White Rock, BC) and Candace (Raymond) Kopera (North Battleford, SK); grandchildren Shaun (Robin) Hartzell, Tracee (Dr. Zoltan) Horvath, Ryan (Allyn) Hartzell, Christopher (Meaghen) Kopera, Michael (Kimberly) Kopera, Nathan Kopera; great-grandchildren Liam & Jordan Hartzell, Aria, Elisha, Elijah & Noah Horvath, Robert Hartzell, Cash & Ella Kopera, Ashley Brown & Emma Brown-Kopera. Marion was born at the Holy Family Hospital in Prince Albert, SK, lived on the homestead in Spruce Home, but spent most of her life in Prince Albert. She was the Christian Education Secretary for many years at Wesley United Church and was the first Welcome Wagon Hostess in P.A. She was active in the YMCA, a Charter Member of Sweet Adelines, and a life member of the P.A. Exhibition Board. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at the Kopera Care Home and the Palliative Care Unit of the Victoria Hospital for the excellent care they provided to Marion. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday July 26th, 2013 at Grays Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Tony Thompson officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9.
