January 30, 1941 – June 27, 2013

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Edward “Ted” Delparte. Ted was born January30, 1941 in Albertville, SK and passed away with his family at his side in St Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK on June 27, 2013. Ted’s passion was to travel and volunteer in underdeveloped countries. He took ill on his last journey/adventure in Guatemala helping build a soup kitchen with the organization “Chalice”. While Ted was unmarried he leaves behind one brother Robert (Mona) Delparte; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family to mourn his passing. Ted joins his family in heaven, his parents Edward (Maria) Delparte; his brothers Georges (Armande) Delparte and Donald (Grace) Delparte. The family would like to thank the staff of St Paul’s Hospital ICU for the wonderful support they provided us all. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013 with Yvonne Nakonechny officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2013 with Celebrant Reverend Father D.J. Vu. Both services will be held at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Albertville, SK. Private Family Interment will be held at Albertville Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes Memorial Donations in Ted’s name can be made to the ICU, c/o St. Paul’s Hospital, 1702 – 20th Street West, Saskatoon, SK S7M 0Z9.
