Beatrice Mary (nee Brochu) Leveque passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Pineview Terrace Lodge in Prince Albert, SK. She was born at Arborfield, SK on August 27, 1939 to Joseph and Gertrude Brochu. She attended school in Prince Albert at Sisters of Sion Convent and in Wilcox with Sisters of St. Louis. As the younger siblings in the family arrived, she stayed home to help raise them and help with the farm work. She was strong and industrious and full of fun, bringing much gaiety and cheer to farm labour. She was a natural athlete and loved to dance, swim, skate, fish, hunt, downhill ski and raise horses. She was an excellent seamstress and made many doll clothes as well as our clothes, leather gloves and slippers. She moved to Ontario in 1975 where she was employed at the Oshawa General Motors plant and in 1979 married Louie Leveque of Maynooth. She started a Bed and Breakfast in their rambling house and hosted many guests there. Learning to ride motorcycle and riding her Harley was a big highlight in her life. Beatrice returned to Prince Albert in 2002 to be near her sisters as her health failed. Beatrice is survived by her sisters: Sister Patricia Brochu of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Gert (Armand) Lefebvre, Catherine (Pete Roeddecke) Brochu, Lorette (Tony) Fernandes and Colette (Tony) Armstrong; her brothers Stafford (Pat), Paul (Lynn), Lawrence (June) and Terry (Rosanne). She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Louie and her niece Cheri. Beatrice leaves us with many joyful memories of her escapades!!! Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29 from Rivier Academy Chapel, 1405 Bishop Pascal Place by Father Maurice Fiolleau, Vicar General of Prince Albert. Interment of cremated remains will take place in the South Hill Cemetery. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the “Because I am a Girl” Program with Plan Canada. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of RIVER PARK MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Prince Albert, SK 306-764-2727, Donald M. Moriarty, Funeral Director
