Bird, James Melasippe Watson “Dʌk” “Sip” – late of Saskatoon, SK passed away on August 3, 2013 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 42 years. James will be lovingly remembered by his parents: Eva Bird of Saskatoon, SK and Noah R. Ballantyne of Saskatoon, SK; his children: Sunshine Bird and James Bird Jr.; his sisters: Angie (Doreen) Bird of Little Red River Reserve, SK Richard, Georgina Charles of Little Red River Reserve, SK Johnny, Edith Bird of Edmonton, AB, Peggy Moberly of Edmonton, AB Dale, Noella Bird of Saskatoon, SK, Ruby Bird of Prince Albert, SK Brian and Corinne Hunt of Little Red River Reserve, SK Charles Sr.; his brothers: Henry Henderson of Little Red River Reserve and Marvin Bird of Little Red River Reserve; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles, adopted family and friends. James was predeceased by his grandparents: Emma Charles (nee Ballantyne), Melasippe Watson and Martha Ballantyne; his twins in infancy; his 2 siblings in infancy; his nephew: Darnell Waditaka and his 2 nieces: Abigail Charles and Joline Hunt. A Wake will be commencing Monday, August 5, 2013, Residence of Eva Bird, Saskatoon, SK and Tuesday, August 6, 2013, Mistawasis Family Centre, Mistawasis, SK.
