Christine Violet Ducommun
Christine Ducommun, late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away suddenly on August 31, 2013 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 61 years. Christine grew up on a farm near Carrot River, SK. She raised 2 wonderful boys who were the light of her life. Colin states “she was the most awesome Mom”. Christine loved spending time with her boys and would have done anything for them. She especially loved the time she spent with them camping, fishing and long talks into the evening. In her later years, she wrote a book about her life which gave her some peace and closure. When she moved to Prince Albert she got an apartment where she could see the river out her front window. She loved that. She will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace Christine. Christine will be lovingly remembered by her 2 sons: Keith (Lisa) and Colin; her 5 grandchildren: Tayller, Benjamin, Amelia, Samuel and Joseph; her 3 sisters: Joan (Art), Trudy and Leslie (Gary), and her 3 nieces: Sarah, Diana, Candace (Jeff) and their daughter Anika. Christine was predeceased by her mother: Opal; her father: Clarence; her daughter: Raeanne; and her maternal and fraternal grandparents. At Christine’s wishes no funeral service will be held. In lieu of other tributes donations in Christine’s memory may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Prince Albert Branch, 1322 Central Ave, Prince Albert, SK S6V 4W3. Arrangements in care of Northern Funeral Service, Mackenzie Chapel. Brian and Bev Stobbs, Funeral Directors. 306.763.8488 www.northernfuneralservice.ca
