It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Deborah Lynn Genevieve Elder. Deb was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was born on September 3, 1967 in Saskatoon to Jacob and Ruth Elder.
Deb's world revolved around her daughter, Serenity. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She volunteered her time at Riverside School helping with the Literacy Program, Pre-K, and the Community Room. She believed family wasn't just the one you were born with but the ones you chose.
Deborah is survived by her daughter Serenity, her mother Ruth, her sisters Victoria (Tim), Judy (Dan), Janice, her foster brother John (Donna) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close family friends. She is predeceased by her father, Jacob, Grandparents Joseph and Marianne Elder (nee Senger), Peter and Margaret Bergen (nee Peters), Uncles Henry, Arnold and Joseph.
Donations greatly appreciated to be placed in trust for Serenity's future education.
Service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday September 25th 2013 at St. Michael’s Church with Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Memories following the Reception.
