Donna Marie Mihilewicz
December 17, 1956 – November 10, 2013
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donna on Sunday, November 10, 2013. Donna was born in Prince Albert on December 17, 1956. She was the youngest of six children. During her school years Donna was very active in sports. She loved bowling, where she went with the YBC jr. girls to the national finals, badminton, volleyball and other sports which she was very good at. She attended Tech high school and was once named female athlete of the year. Donna had a couple of summer jobs during high school. She graduated in 1974 and that fall she started working at the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Livestock Division. She met the love of her life Ron in 1980 and was married in July of 1984. They lived on the farm at Whitestar until her passing. Donna was very much a sports fan following the PA Raiders with season tickets for over 35 years, she also loved the Riders. Everything was planned around these sports. Donna worked at the stockyards for 39 years. She enjoyed her work and made many friends. She loved decorating for the holidays, gardening and flowers. Donna and Ron enjoyed travelling together over the years. Donna will always be remembered for her great spirit and the joy of life. Donna didn’t have to be asked to do anything, she just did it. Donna is survived by her loving husband Ron; her sisters Pat (Fred) Palidwar and Judy Friesen; her brothers Jim Pete and Larry Pete; mother-in-law Olga Mihilewicz; sister-in-law Ethel (Gerry) Chopyk; brother-in-law Larry (Debbie) Mihilewicz; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
