Douglas Lorne Grund
February 7, 1946 – December 3, 2013

Doug passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. He was born on February 7, 1946 in Regina SK. He was raised in Middle Lake and later moved to Weirdale in 1993. Doug was a warm and genuine individual with a sense of humour and a distinctive laugh. Generous in word and deed, Doug was a devoted husband to Paulette and father to Edward. His friends and neighbours will remember his blunt honesty and sincerity. His helpfulness and character won’t be easily forgotten. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his son Edward; his sister Joan Kacuiba; his brothers-in-law Kevin (Janette) Diederichs, Mark (Erin) Diederichs and Gary Diederichs and his sister-in-law Audrey Kormas. He was predeceased by his wife Paulette; his brother-in-law John Kacuiba and his parents Phillip and Margaret Grund.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father D. J. Vu. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, PO Box 12013 STN BRM B, Toronto, ON M7Y 2L3 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 – 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9.
