MIRANDA “MANDY” PARENTEAU
Miranda “Mandy” Claudia Parenteau passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at St. Paul Hospital in Saskatoon, SK. She was born on August 1, 1988 in Rosthern, SK. Mandy grew up in St. Laurent attending elementary school in St. Louis, moving to Duck Lake and continuing her schooling. She moved to Davis with her family attending Osborne and Westmor School, graduating grade 12 at Carlton Comprehensive High School. After finishing high school in 2007 Mandy lived and worked in Prince Albert and became the proud mother of her eldest son, Lukas, in 2008. Shortly after she was blessed with a second son, Leland, in 2009. Mandy loved her two boys “to the moon and back”; and they loved her equally as much. Mandy had a passion for the latest fashion trends; her appearance, always beautiful, changed weekly echoing the high spirited girl she was on the inside. She loved music, and sang to her own tune, often having a new quote of the day. Mandy loved hanging out with friends and family; she also had a fond love of animals. She had a positive outlook in life amidst bad situations; when she felt down she knew how to pick herself back up. Mandy is survived by her loving family: her sons Lukas and Leland; her mother and step-father Debbie (Wayne) Acorn; her brothers and sister Kim (Brandi) Ory, Ewyn, Brad (Jody) Kelsey, Mya, Noami, Payton and Melissa (Mike) Jayden, Cole; father of her children Justin Vermette; her grandmother Claudine Parenteau; her grandfather Octave Fiddler; her step-grandmother Hazel Acorn; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; her very special friend Angie. Mandy – you will be dearly missed by many; may your earthly form rest in peace as your angel wings carry you to a better place.
