Charlie Berezowski
October 20, 1928 – January 16, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charlie Berezowski at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, January, 16, 2014 at the age of 85. Charlie was born on October 20, 1928 to Joseph and Anna (nee Billay) Berezowski. He worked hard on the railroad for 30 years for CP Rail. Charlie is survived by his daughters Mavis (Greg) of Prince Albert, SK and Cathy (Lyle) Hill of Salmon Arm, BC; his brothers John (Sadie) of Meath Park, SK, Pete of Toronto, ON, Frank (Paulette) of Prince Albert, SK and Rudy of Drumheller, AB; his sister Josephine Schigal of Prince Albert, SK; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Berezowski; his sisters Mary, Katie, Francis and Lucy and his brothers Walter, Mike, Adam and Steve. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Grays Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held at the Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Janow Corners, SK in the summer of 2014. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8.
