With family by his side, Emil passed away on Sunday, the 9th day of February, 2014 in the Battlefords Union Hospital at the age of 80. Emil's Funeral Service will be held on Saturday the 15th day of February, 2014 at 2:00pm from the Medstead Community Hall in Medstead, SK with Pastor Dave Jensen officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Medstead Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial Donations can be made in Emil's honor to the Cater Lake Wildlife Federation or to the Donor's choice of a Charity.
