It is with much love and deep sadness that we regretfully announce the passing of Dorothy (Jackie) Macek, on the 21st day of February at the age of 67. Jackie passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Jackie and the love of her life, Frank, moved from Prince Albert to Alberta in 1993, eventually settling in Medicine Hat. Jackie and Frank would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July. Jackie will be deeply missed and remembered by her husband Frank and their two sons John (Tristina) and Frank (Natalie) along with her five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
